Volunteer in Dogsville
As our outreach grows, so does our need for volunteers! While Dogsville is meant to be a stop along the way for the dogs we rescue, we often have 10-15 plus dogs onsite needing our constant care. Dogsville is recruiting volunteers interested in helping with kennel cleaning, grooming, socializing, dog walking, housekeeping, and more! For Dogsville opportunities, please contact Casey Nicholson at caseyn@nmdr.org.
Do you love reading books?
Our Rescue Readers program is back! Socializing with rescued dogs is not only fulfilling, it helps our dogs to become accustomed to human interaction. This activity is appropriate for ages elementary through high school. Please note, you will need to bring a guardian with you to the shelter for this activity. See our Facebook Events page for more details and dates.
