Adoption Event on December 17th

Join us as we partner with Engels & Völkers Colorado Springs for this fun adoption event. There will be hot cocoa, treats, and family-friendly activities, as well as pup time with some of our available dogs. We hope to see you on December 17th from 12-3pm at 5214 N Nevada Ave, Suite 100.

Year-End Giving

The end of the year is an important time for NMDR and our dogs. It is the season of generosity, and so many of you choose to give to us every year. This year, we are excited to share our 5 Ways to Change a Dog’s Life campaign, where each week we will be sharing with you a different way in which you can help make a difference.

Learn about all the ways you can give and make a difference in the lives of the dogs we rescue. We and the dogs thank you for your ongoing support, however you choose to give!

2023 Calendars are now available!

Our 2023 calendars are here and available for sale! Enjoy the year with some of our favorite pups from the past year. And, every purchase helps us continue our mission. So it truly is a win-win-woof situation! Check them out at the link below!

Do you love reading books?

Our Rescue Readers program is back! Socializing with rescued dogs is not only fulfilling, it helps our dogs to become accustomed to human interaction. This activity is appropriate for ages elementary through high school.

Please note, you will need to bring a guardian with you to the shelter for this activity.  See our Facebook Events page for more details and dates.

Please email JoniW@nmdr.org for more information and to sign up!

National Mill Dog Rescue celebrates 15 Years!
2022 will mark 15 years since Lily (our founding dog) was rescued, and NMDR’s humble beginnings took hold in Colorado Springs. We are celebrating all year long, and you can donate towards our mission at this link!
