Donate and join our live event on March 23rd!

Our Double the Pawprints campaign is raising $250,000 for NMDR to help us do just that! This money will complete renovations at the Midwest property that will then be a safe place to service our dogs during rescues. It will also provide a place for transporters and rescuers to rest and coordinate transfers of dogs to our rescue partners across the country. With your contribution to this exciting Double the Pawprints campaign, NMDR will be empowered to significantly increase the number of dogs we rescue and place into loving homes while continuing to serve and educate the individuals and communities we are working with.

Pawsome Auction Donations are open!

It’s that time again! We are kicking off our annual Pawsome Auction with a request for items from our loyal supporters nationwide!

Donating items to our Pawsome Auction catalog is a great way to support National Mill Dog Rescue’s fundraising auction effort. Some ideas for donations are: handmade items such as quilts, jewelry, artwork, pet items, clothing, handbags, services (please indicate clearly your location if your service needs to be in person), event/sport tickets, gift baskets, home decor, gift cards, collectible items, and so much more. Your imagination is the limit!

Vote for NMDR in Best in Business 2023

Local publication Sixty35 Media is holding its annual “Best In Business 2023” contest where the highest-rated businesses in Colorado Springs can be voted on by the community in multiple categories.
We would love your vote for National Mill Dog Rescue as the Best Nonprofit and Best Place to Volunteer!

2023 Calendars are still available!

Our 2023 calendars are only $20, and we still have them in stock! Enjoy the new year with some of our favorite pups from the past year. And, every purchase helps us continue our mission. So it truly is a win-win-woof situation! Check them out at the link below!

Do you love reading books?

Our Rescue Readers program is back! Socializing with rescued dogs is not only fulfilling, it helps our dogs to become accustomed to human interaction. This activity is appropriate for ages elementary through high school.

Please note, you will need to bring a guardian with you to the shelter for this activity.  See our Facebook Events page for more details and dates.

Please email JoniW@nmdr.org for more information and to sign up!
