About NMDR

Mission statement

To rescue, rehabilitate and rehome discarded breeding dogs and to educate the general public about the cruel realities of the commercial dog breeding industry.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Peyton, CO.

Why We Do What We Do

NMDR was established in February 2007, in honor of a forgiving little Italian Greyhound named Lily, rescued by NMDR’s founder, Theresa Strader. Determined that her years of suffering would not be in vain, NMDR now gives a voice to mill dogs across the country.

Financials

NMDR is a nonprofit organization that is exempt from federal taxation. We ensure that our donors’ money is spent as effectively and efficiently as possible, and we are committed to organizational financial transparency. Click the button below to view our financial information.
