DonorPerfect (This company is located within the U.S. and works specifically with U.S.-based organizations to collect donations from donors and allow potential donors to become donors by submitting online forms. ConstantContact (This company is located within the U.S. and works with companies and organizations worldwide, allowing them send marketing and other emails to lists of opted-in users. When you sign up for our newsletter, your name and email address will be stored within ConstantContact for our exclusive use. We do not sell, lease, or in any way provide your email address to other lists outside of NMDR, and we will not add you to any of our lists that you have not explicitly opted into. What are “Cookies” and How Do We Use Information We Collect from Them?
Our site uses cookies to differentiate you from other customers and to enhance your onsite experience by preventing repeated ads or requiring you to log in more than is necessary for security. Data Retention Period
Data retention of your personal data may vary depending on where it resides in our various systems and platforms, however, we generally will retain your data as follows:
IP addresses and browsing activity within our website is retained in various forms indefinitely.
Your donation and financial records with us are retained for at least seven (7) years, as per IRS regulations, and may be retained both digitally and physically (printed).
Any information you submit to us manually through any of our contact forms, email addresses, or social media platforms, could be retained indefinitely and may be retained in backups or moved to other platforms of ours in order for us to better serve you or respond to you.
Emails that you send us are generally retained for a period of 5 years, but certain emails may continue to exist in various forms or digital backups indefinitely.
Mail Preferences
Email: NMDR communicates with our customers through email. An “unsubscribe” link is provided on every email we send. If you are receiving email from us and wish to stop receiving communication via email, simply click on the “unsubscribe” link provided and you will immediately and automatically cease receiving email promotions from us. If you have any issues with the unsubscribe link, you may request removal by contacting customerservice@nmdr.org
Sharing mailing lists with third parties: NMDR may enter into alliances, partnerships, or other arrangements with third parties who may be given access to contact information including your name and address, for the purpose of providing you information regarding products and services that we think may be of interest to you. Donor information is not shared in these arrangements. If you would prefer to not receive mailings from these organizations, please let us know by contacting us toll-free at 888-485-3647 or contacting us via customerservice@nmdr.org.
Donor information (such as name, address, e-mail address) that you entrust to NMDR is not shared with any third party without your permission to do so.
How Do We Protect Your Information?
Email is not recognized as a secure medium of communication. For this reason, we request that you do not send private information to us by email. Some of the information you may enter on our web site may be transmitted securely via Secure Sockets Layer SSL, 128 bit encryption services. Pages utilizing this technology will have URLs that start with HTTPS instead of HTTP. You may request access to all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain in our database by contacting us at the above contact information.
