2025 Year End Giving
Unseen Hearts: Give Hope This Holiday Season
Behind every rescue is a heart that waited unseen for far too long. Seniors. Roadside rescues. Medical cases. Dogs who spent years overlooked before finally landing in caring arms.
This year-end season, NMDR’s Unseen Hearts campaign shines a light on the dogs who need it most. Your generosity helps us reach them, rescue them, and give them the love, care, and safety they never had.
Whether you choose to give through our major giving days like Giving Tuesday or Colorado Gives Day, make a direct donation, give stock, or plan a legacy gift, every contribution brings light where it has been missing.
Ways to Give at NMDR
At NMDR, giving isn’t one-size-fits-all. Every donor has a unique way of showing love, and every contribution helps dogs on their journey from rescue to healing. There is no single way to change a life. Some supporters give monthly. Others donate in honor of a loved one or a pet who has crossed the rainbow bridge. Many donate in celebration of holidays or milestones, or donate supplies that directly support our daily operations. And some create lasting impact through stock gifts or legacy planning.
Every gift, no matter the form, helps us care for seniors, comfort the frightened, provide medical treatment to neglected dogs, and open doors for countless hearts waiting to be seen.
Giving Tuesday – December 2nd
On Giving Tuesday, we focus on the first fragile moments of rescue. The long drives. The roadside pickups. The quiet, frightened dogs waiting in the dark for someone to notice them. Your donation lights the path from uncertainty to safety.
This day supports the heart of our mission. Reaching the dogs still out there. Bringing them into caring hands. Beginning their new chapters with compassion and dignity.
Colorado Gives Day – December 9th
Colorado Gives Day celebrates the transformation that happens after rescue. Warm beds. Medical care. Rehabilitation. Gentle hands. And a team that refuses to give up on dogs who already survived so much.
Your gift on this statewide day of generosity supports the care provided inside both of our shelters in Colorado and Missouri. You help turn overlooked dogs into shining souls who finally feel safe, cherished, and seen.
Pikes Peak Give! Campaign
The Pikes Peak Give! Campaign brings our community together to support nonprofits doing vital work. When you give to NMDR through Give!, you help us reach the dogs who have been overlooked for too long and bring them into a life where they are cared for and seen.
Your gift stays local and fuels rescue and rehabilitation efforts for dogs both in Colorado and beyond.
Adopt a Senior Dog
Senior dogs often wait longer for homes and care. Their gentleness, wisdom, and sweetness deserve soft beds, warm meals, and love that honors their years. Your gift helps us provide essential medical treatment, daily comfort, and bright days for these beautiful souls.
Visit our Adoptable Dogs page to see how you can help give dignity to their golden years.
Become an Angel Donor
Every gift helps us respond to rescue calls, transport dogs to safety, provide veterinary treatment, and support their healing. One-time and monthly donations ensure that no dog with an unseen heart is left behind. Learn about our Angel Donor Monthly Giving program by clicking the link below.
Make a Legacy Gift
Legacy gifts created through FreeWill allow your love for animals to continue long into the future. Including NMDR in your estate plans supports the care and rescue of countless dogs, especially those who spent years overlooked and forgotten.
Your legacy becomes a light for every unseen heart still waiting.
Together, We Give Hope
Your generosity lifts up seniors, comforts the fearful, treats the medical cases, and opens new beginnings for dogs who have never had a chance.
This year-end season, help us continue shining light on the hearts that were unseen for far too long.
